Final Film

 

What I’ve learned

 This project has taught me so much about filmmaking, creativity, and perseverance. I'm grateful for the experience and can't wait to apply what I've learned to future projects.

Overcoming Fears with filming

 Filming my short film was a big challenge for me. I had to do things that made me feel nervous and uncomfortable, like talking in front of a camera. But, it was also really rewarding because I got to try new things and learn from my mistakes. I'm proud of myself for being brave and stepping out of my comfort zone. It was a great experience that helped me grow and become more confident!

How filming made me feel

Filming was an amazing experience, but it was also super stressful at times.There were long days, early mornings, and lots of pressure to get everything just right. I had to learn to manage my nerves and trust the process. It wasn't always easy, but it was worth it.

Bloopers

Making a short film with my mom was a blast! We had some hilarious bloopers. Filming with my mom was a blast, and our blooper reel is proof. We had so many laugh-out-loud moments where we just couldn’t keep a straight face. I love looking back on those moments and reliving the laughter we shared.

Sharing Film

I'm excited to share my film with my family. I worked hard to create a story that inspires and educates. I hope my film will make a difference and spark important conversations.

Learning From Each Other

Working with my mom was an incredible learning experience. We learned from each other and grew as a team. My mom taught me so much about filmmaking and about perseverance. I'm so grateful for her guidance.

Film Feedback and Reviews

 Getting feedback on my film has been invaluable. I have been sharing our film with others and getting their feedback. I’m using this feedback to improve and grow.

Final Cut

 After weeks of editing, I'm finally happy with the final cut of my film! It's surreal to think that this project is almost complete. I’ve learned so much from this project and I can’t wait to share it with you.

More Editing

 Today I spent the day watching some videos on film editing today. I'm hoping to learn some new techniques. It was helpful to see how editors work and do different techniques. I took some notes and will try to apply what I learned.

Creative Editing

 I'm having fun editing my film and getting creative with the footage. It's amazing how much of a difference music, transitions, and effects can make!

Finishing up filming

  I filmed some more scenes today. This time, I focused on the aftermath of a drunk driving accident. It was tough to film, but I think it's necessary for the story. I hope it will make an impact.

Music pt. 2

  I added some music to my short film today. It's really helping to set the mood. I chose a simple soundtrack that won't over power my dialogue. It seems to be working well so far.

Special Effects

Adding special effects was a cool part of the filmmaking process! I used effects on CapCut to create unique effects. I experimented with different techniques to achieve the desired look. It was such a fun and creative process.

CapCut Back

 I’m beyond happy that CapCut is finally back in the US! After a stressful ban, I can finally finish editing my movie with my favorite app. I’m so happy to have CapCut back, and I’m excited to see my film come together.

CapCut, my go-to video editing app, just got banned in the US! I was relying on it to edit my latest movie project.

I’d already edited a significant portion of my film using CapCut. Now, I have to start all over again with a new app.

Film inspiration

 My film inspiration comes from real-life experiences and social issues. I want to make films that inspire change and raise awareness. My mom has been a huge inspiration for me, encouraging me to pursue my passions. I'm so grateful for her support.

Recording With family

 Working with my mom was an amazing experience. We made a great team and had so much fun together. Collaborating with family can be challenging, but it's also incredibly rewarding. We learned to communicate effectively and support each other.

Screen message

 I crafted a powerful screen message to spread awareness about drunk driving. The screen message is the second thing my audience will see, so it's essential to make it count. I hope my screen message will inspire change. It's so important to spread awareness about this critical issue. I'm proud of what I created.

Process of title slide

I designed the title slide using Canva, a free graphic design platform. Creating a title slide is all about capturing the essence of your film. I used videos on the internet to help me design the perfect title slide. Canva has so many amazing templates and design tools. My title slide turned out amazing.

Choosing the title font was a fun part of the filmmaking process! I experimented with different fonts to find the perfect one. We wanted a font that was bold, yet elegant. It was such a fun and creative process!

Editing with CapCut

I edited my film using CapCut, a free app. It's very user-friendly and has tons of awesome features. Editing is not one of my favorite parts of the filmmaking process. I did the editing alone and got valuable feedback from my mom on it.

Sounds

 

I found some awesome free music tracks on CapCut that perfectly fit my film's mood. Music is such an important part of filmmaking. My mom helped me choose the perfect tracks. CapCut has an amazing library of free music!

Filming on phone

Many people think that you need expensive camera to film but I used my trusty phone to capture the footage. The camera quality is was great, and it's so convenient to use. My mom helped me with filming and provided valuable feedback. We worked together to get the perfect shots. I'm thrilled with how the footage turned out.

Filming at home

 My house was my film set. We got creative with lighting and camera angles to make the most of the space. Location scouting is an essential part of filmmaking. You need to find a location that fits your story and budget. I was lucky to have a flexible location that worked for my film. My mom helped me transform our home into a film set.

Cast

Casting is a crucial part of the filmmaking process. You need to find actors who can bring your characters to life.  My mom was the perfect person, her and I starred in the movie together.We had so much fun working together. We made a great team.

Revising script

 Revising my script was a crucial part of the filmmaking process. My mom helped me refine my script and make sure it was the best it could be. We worked together to strengthen the story and characters. I'm so happy with the final result.

Homemade Film

I spent the day filming my short film about drunk driving at home. I'm doing the whole project by myself, which is kinda challenging, but I'm determined to make it good. I hope my message about the dangers of drunk driving comes across loud and clear to everyone. I'm thrilled to share my homemade short film with you! Created from scratch at home. I worked with my amazing mom to bring this project to life.

Script Writing

 Today I started on my script. I wrote my script in my bedroom. It took several drafts to get it just right, but I'm happy with the final result. Writing a script is all about telling a story that resonates with your audience. My mom provided valuable feedback and helped me refine my script. I'm grateful for her support and guidance. Scriptwriting is a challenging but rewarding process.

 I did some research on drunk driving today. It's a really important topic, and I want to make sure I do it justice. I took some notes and organized my thoughts.
